Licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York and more states, we are Feinman Insurance.

Our story begins sometime around 1930 when our company was known as Walter Ogus Associates, Inc., and based out of Washington, D.C. Harold Feinman joined the agency in 1954, while Gerald Hillman came on 16 years later. Harold’s son Bruce then joined the agency in 1984. After Walter retired, the agency became Walter Ogus Insurance, Inc. in 1982, with the agency moving from Washington to Rockville in 1985, where it became Feinman, Hillman & Associates, Inc. Harold’s daughter, Jody Marbach, then joined the agency in 1989, and Gerald retired in 2004. The agency was changed to Feinman Insurance, Inc. in 2006, with Harold becoming the sole owner. In 2012, Harold sold the agency to his children, Bruce Feinman and Jody Marbach in 2012, and still works with the company.

Our firm’s story indicates just how close we are to our community and how long we have been part of it. Today, we’re just about a half-hour away from the country’s capital and serve residents across the greater Washington, D.C. area including Maryland and Virginia, and beyond.
